This is an extremely detailed llama proximal phalanx (toe bone). This specimen is perfectly preserved with very crisp features all around. It is rock solid and very heavily mineralized. Attractive two-tone patina. Awesome example. From either Palaeolama mirifica or Hemiauchenia macrocephala.
