This is one of only a small handful of fossils that we've ever offered from the iconic La Brea Tarpits. Further, this specimen is from the TRUE La Brea Tarpits, unlike the many McKittrick Pit fossils that are marketed as being from La Brea. This specimen was found during a construction project in the 1970s. Beautiful specimen that is in fantastic condition with impeccable provenance.
