This is an absolutely incredible and beyond rare horse hemimandible (lower jaw) that was found at the famous Leisey Shell Pit in Ruskin, Florida. This specimen has nine perfect teeth still intact, along with a partial canine. As with many Leisey fossils, this specimen was crushed by machinery and has obviously been repaired. It could easily be painted to match, but we prefer it as is. Really fantastic example with impeccable provenance. It makes an awesome display piece.
