This is a very nice three-hump mastodon tooth for an absolute bargain price. This specimen has been coated with a preservative giving it a slightly unnatural gloss, but it is no where near as glossy in hand as it appears in the pictures. A good portion of the root system is intact and act as a natural display stand; the tooth sits up by itself. Really nice tooth for the money.
