This is an extremely nice mastodon lower tusk tip. This specimen is super well preserved and highly detailed. It has a very nice wear pattern to the distal end (tip), and shows well the schreger lines on the proximal end. It is solid and well mineralized and weighs 7.3oz. It is much nicer in hand than the pictures portray. Great example that displays well.
