This is an absolutely simply stunningly colorful five hump mastodon tooth. This specimen features a bizarre range of colors ranging from white to black to golden brown to orange. A good portion of the root system is still intact and act as a natural display stand and the tooth stands up by itself. It has been coated with a preservative so it will be safe to handle for many years to come. One root has been glued back on. Pictures do this tooth absolutely no justice, it is much more beautiful in hand.
