This is a beyond rare American lion proximal phalanx (toe bone). This specimen absolutely massive and very impressive. It is in perfect condition with no damage anywhere. It has a very attractive naturally glossy patina. This is one of only a small handful of American lion fossils that we have ever encountered. This is an incredibly rare species.
