This is an extremely rare claw core from the bone crushing dog, Borophagus. This specimen is in immaculate condition with every detail intact and ultra crisp. It has a very attractive jet black patina. Incredibly crisp specimen. It was found at an exclusively early Pleistocene site, the only Canid at this site is Borophagus diversidens.
