This is likely the only tooth from this species that you will ever see, it's the only one we're ever encountered in 20 years. This species is extinct, but is similar to the extant giant South American otter. This is the upper carnassial, the P4, and it is in excellent condition with two out of three roots fully intact. The enamel is exceptional with a beautiful glossy patina. Incredible specimen from an insanely rare species.
