This is a beyond rare saber cat lower jaw canine tooth. This specimen is from the early Pleistocene saber cat, Smilodon gracilis, which is a far less common species than its late Pleistocene successor, S. fatalis. This example is in great condition with 100% of the enamel and the majority of the root still intact. Really fantastic example and representation from a beyond rare and highly sought after species.
