This is a beyond rare section of Archaeocete whale mandible. This specimen has the alveoli for at least two teeth. Solid and heavily mineralized specimen with a section of matrix still attached. This is an incredibly rare specimen - the first section of Archaeocete mandible that we've ever offered for sale.
