This is an extremely nice and quite uncommon glyptodon spike scute for a fantastic price. This specimen is very well preserved and detailed with crisp features all around. These spike scutes are only located around the edges of the shell, and on the tail; so they are far less common than the rosette scutes. Awesome example.
