This is a very nice midsection of a mastodon tusk. This specimen is rock solid and very heavily mineralized, it weighs just shy of 1lb at 15.5oz. It is highly detailed with crisp features and shows the schreger lines well. It measures 2 1/2" in diameter. It shows an attractive milk chocolate patina and is a great specimen that displays well.
