This is an extremely nice black bear lower canine tooth. This specimen is unique in that it has an unusual pathology in the enamel just below the enamel. We're not entirely sure what caused this pathology, likely some type of root decay that tooth place beneath the gums. Exceptional specimen with a lot of character that the pictures do absolutely no justice.
