This is a beyond rare and truly fascinating striped skunk skull. This specimen is unique in that it shows signs of a severe nasal infection likely from the presence of the sinus nematode. There is one molar still intact as well as one of the zygomatic arches which is virtually never seen. This is one of the best preserved and most intact skunk skulls that we have ever encountered. Truly world class specimen that is beyond rare.
