This is a simply gorgeous section of dire wolf maxilla (upper jaw - skull) with a stunning carnassial tooth still intact. Pictures truly do this specimen absolutely no justice, it is much nicer in hand. This specimen is as-found and has not been coated with anything - it is naturally this glossy from thousands of years of natural polish from sand and water currents. The tooth is the upper P4 and is in remarkable condition. This is a gorgeous representation from a rare and highly sought after species.
