This is the best and largest section of extinct giant box turtle shell that we have ever encountered. It is rock solid and very heavily mineralized - clinks like china when tapped. Highly detailed specimen with very crisp features all around. This is approximately 1/4 of the carapace. Really fantastic specimen from a rare species. It displays very well.
