This is an absolutely immaculate mastodon calcaneum (ankle bone). It is in flawless condition with no damage or erosion. Rock solid and very heavily mineralized - it weighs 5lb 10.6oz. It features a beautiful cream patina, found at a land site. Very impressive specimen that is in fantastic condition. Pictures do this specimen no justice, it is much nicer in hand.
Due to the weight of this specimen, the website's shipping quote will not be accurate for all buyers.
