This is a large section of slider turtle shell that was found at the famous Leisey Shell Pit by well known fossil collector Frank Garcia. It is quite uncommon to find a section of turtle shell this large and complete as you can see from the underside it is made up of a lot of different elements. Fantastic example with impeccable provenance.
