This is a massive and very impressive bison cervical (neck) vertebra. Typically, one would not be able to determine the species of a vertebrae like this, but this example was found associated with a skull. This is an extremely well preserved and detailed specimen with crisp features. It is heavily mineralized and weighs 1lb 12.6oz. Very impressive specimen.
