This is a massive and very impressive section of whale skull. This specimen is rock solid and very heavily mineralized, it is literally rock-like. It weighs 9lb 8.3oz. It still has a good amount of sea life attached which adds a lot of character. From a mature individual as evidenced by the gnarly extra bone growth on the top. Very impressive specimen that makes a great display.
