This is a very rare and truly museum quality bone crushing dog lower carnassial (m1). This specimen is in incredible condition with gorgeous ultra glossy jet black patina. 100% of the enamel is intact and shows no wear. This specimen is from a sub-adult individual and this tooth was likely unerupted, or just erupted, at the time of death. The hollow roots had not just formed at the time of death. This is a fantastic representation from a very rare species.
