This is a simply gorgeous section of mastodon mandible (lower jaw) with two colorful teeth still intact. Both teeth are in excellent condition with 100% of the enamel intact. The enamel features very attractive marbled coloration with ultra glossy patina. Two pieces of bone on the back portion of the jaw were glued back on, but the teeth have never been out of the jaw. This specimen is rock solid and very heavily mineralized, it weighs 15lb 1.7oz. Very high quality specimen that displays extremely well. Awesome specimen.
