This is a very nice black bear upper canine. Even though black bears are extant, their fossils are much more rare to find than the short-faced bears. This specimen has a large root which is fully intact though it does show some light erosion on one side. The enamel is virtually flawless with natural wear to the labial side and tip. Awesome tooth for a fantastic price.
