This is a very nice and quite rare juvenile mastodon lower tusk. This specimen is much larger than most and has the tip fully intact including the enamel. The tip shows a a great wear pattern that has worn off the majority of the enamel. There are a few cracks which are much more noticable in the pictures than in hand - they are stable and solid. Awesome specimen; a very rare find.
