This is a rock solid and very highly mineralized section of mastodon tusk. This specimen shows the attractive outer layer of the tusk and displays well. It still has some sea life attached from the salt water environment where it was found. This specimen shows really well the schreger lines in both ends. Weighs 6.3oz.
