This is a very nice section of tapir maxilla with three large molars still intact. A large amount of bone including a portion of the zygomatic arch. Rock solid and very heavily mineralized specimen. Unique specimen in that it still has space beneath two of the molars for replacement teeth. Really a cool piece.
