This is a very nice section of tapir mandible (jaw) with a perfect molar still intact. The molar was just beginning to erupt, but shows no wear. Beautiful glossy black enamel on the tooth. Rock solid and heavily mineralized specimen. Great jaw that the pictures do no justice.
