This is a very rare and really exceptional giant ground sloth caudal (tail) vertebra. It is rock solid and very heavily mineralized, it weighs just shy of 1lb at 15.9oz. It is a highly detailed specimen with crisp features all around. Fantastic example from a very rare species.
