This is a very rare and unique juvenile mastodon ulna bone. This specimen is from a very young individual, this is the smallest example we've ever seen. It features a very attractive naturally glossy black patina. It is rock solid and very heavily mineralized - it weighs 3lb 4.6oz. Pictures do it absolutely no justice, it is much nicer in hand.
