This is a very nice little section of tapir maxilla (upper jaw) with a nice colorful tooth still intact. This tooth is unique in that it has a slight pathology/genetic anomaly on the enamel. There is an extra cusp between the two high crowns. It sits up by itself and displays very well. Unique and fascinating specimen.
