This is an extremely detailed spectacled (short-faced) bear upper molar. This specimen was from a young sub-adult animal that was just starting to get the adult teeth. This specimen was still below the gumline and shows no wear. The roots had not yet fully formed. Extremely detailed with crisp features all around; the enamel is truly flawless.
