This is an extremely unique and really one-of-a-kind juvenile mammoth tooth with beautiful pink algae staining. This specimen is from a very young animal - the occlusal (chewing) surface is just beginning to show the first signs of wear. It has been coated with a preservative so it will be safe to handle and the color will not fade. Truly remarkable and very unique specimen; pictures do it absolutely no justice.
