This is a very rare and really exceptional metapodial from the giant bear dog. This specimen was from a young adult individual as evidenced by the freshly fused epiphysis on the distal end. 100% fully intact specimen with crisp features all around. Heavily mineralized and porcelain-like. Beautiful mottled patina. All around an exceptional specimen.
