This is a beyond rare and absolutely exceptional giant ground sloth chevron (haemal arch). The chevron is a floating spinal process for the caudal vertebrae. This specimen is 100% intact, no damage anywhere. It is perfectly preserved with exceptional crisp details everywhere. This is BY FAR the finest sloth chevron that we have ever handled. Truly fantastic specimen from a rare and highly desirable species.
