This is an incredibly rare gomphothere metapodial. This specimen is truly in immaculate condition with every last detail intact and incredibly detailed. Rock solid and very heavily mineralized - it weighs 1lb 5.5oz. Very rare piece, this is one of only a small handful of post cranial gomphothere bones that we have ever offered for sale. Absolutely incredible specimen.
