This is a very rare distal end of a saber cat metapodial (toe bone) that was found at the famous La Brea Tarpits in Los Angeles, California. It has the classic golden brown tarpits patina. Great representation from the most highly sought after ice age species from the most famous ice age site in the world for a very affordable price.
