We've probably sold at least 50 juvenile mastodon teeth over the years, but this is hands down the most complete example that we've ever offered. For these roots to have survived the surrounding jaw must have just shattered or simply dissolved. The roots act as a great display stand and the tooth is very solid standing on them by itself. 100% of the enamel is intact with a nice glossy patina. It even has some of the highly sought after pink algae stain; this tooth really has it all!!
