This is an absolutely world class and very impressive three hump mastodon tooth. This specimen has some really incredible roots still intact which are rarely seen. It has a high crown which shows very minimal wear. Heavily mineralized - it weighs just over 2lbs. It has been coated with a preservative so it will be safe to handle and remain stable for many years to come. Truly a museum quality specimen.
