This is an absolutely world class section of mastodon skull (cranium). This is one of the largest pieces that we have encountered. It is super solidly mineralized and weighs 2lb 2.1oz. Highly detailed specimen with crisp features. It shows well the honey comb design that makes the skull strong, but still light. Awesome specimen that makes a unique and impressive display.
