This is a beyond rare Pachyarmatherium scute (osteoderm). This is one of only a small handful of Pachyarmatherium scutes that we have ever offered for sale. This specimen was part of an associated skeleton that is referenced by Dr. Hulbert in "The Fossil Vertebrates of Florida" on page 179. This is the finest example from this species that we have ever offered for sale. Fantastic example from an incredibly rare species.
