This is an extremely nice fully sheathed Megalonyx ground sloth claw core. This specimen has something that is virtually never seen on sloth claws - a fully intact sheath. The sheath is thin, porous, and quite fragile so it is often completely missing. This specimen displays very well and is a great representation of this extinct species.
