This is an absolutely museum quality Megalonyx ground sloth canine (caniniform) tooth. This specimen features a beautiful mottled dirty blonde patina. It is in remarkable shape, but was found in two pieces and has been ground; the seam is so tight it is difficult to see. Sloth teeth of this size and quality are very difficult to find!!
