This is an incredibly rare rearmost molariform tooth from a juvenile Paramylodon sloth. This tooth position is the least common and most desirable position in Paramylodons and this is the first juvenile example that we have ever encountered. It is just beginning to show the first signs of wear to the occlusal (chewing) surface. Awesome and really fascinating specimen.
