This is a very rare Megalonyx sloth tibia (leg bone). This specimen is very well preserved and highly detailed with crisp features. This specimen was found in a few pieces and has been glued with <1% filler just filling a small tiny voids. It is rock solid and very heavily mineralized, it weighs 2lb 13.3oz. A portion of the fibula is still intact. Awesome example of a very scarcely seen bone.
