This is hands down the finest set of associated mastodon teeth that we have ever offered for sale. Absolutely incredible set of teeth. There are three five-humpers and four three-humpers, seven teeth total. Unfortunately the fourth five-humper was not found despite extensive searching, it may have been lost earlier in the animal's life. The five-humpers are extremely rare in that they have complete roots, but don't have excessive enamel wear. These teeth would command premium prices if sold individually, however we believe that they've been together for thousands of years and should remain that way. One root was glued onto one of the five-humpers, otherwise there is no repair or restoration. These teeth truly have it all: Complete roots, high crowns, and INCREDIBLE enamel colors. Pictures do these absolutely no justice. These are truly world class teeth that are much finer in person. Not only is a find like this one-in-a-lifetime, but just the chance to purchase this set is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Usually museum quality fossils like these are sold privately and never make it to a public sales forum. Incredible set; don't miss this opportunity.
