When found, this tooth was still clinging to the limestone matrix and had to be chipped free by the finder. Absolutely flawless state of preservation, this tooth is preserved as well as teeth found in mines. Every single serration, including the tip and the serrations on the cusps are flawless. The bourelet is intact which is unheard of for auriculatus teeth. As if this tooth could not get any better, it's a LOWER!! This is an incredible, museum quality shark tooth.
