This is a beautiful jaguar mandible from an old collection. The collector who found this piece kept very meticulous records which indicate that this piece was found March 26, 1988. The bone is very well preserved and rock solid. The teeth have an ultra glossy glass-like finish. This is a great specimen from a rare location that does not produce many quality mammal fossils.
